Shyo Ryu Ken Kyobashi Design by STILE. Ohara’s winning design has been announced at the Bistro & Bar Design Prizes ceremony, which occurred in London on A dozen September 2013. District in Kyobashi, Osaka, is a part of a well-known Japanese sequence of ramen shops referred to as Shyo Ryu Ken. The design draws ideas from the triangular-shaped roofs regarding Japanese tenement housing referred to as Nagaya.

At Shyo Ryu Ken Kyobashi Design, the space was portioned into separate dinner areas using the canopy with the same shape. The style provides semi-private enclosures with opinions through one available side to the restaurant’s lively kitchen and the some other diners, creating the ambiance of a Nagaya community avenue scene.

This Shyo Ryu Ken Kyobashi Design communicates the idea that the restaurant can be a gathering place for the area community. The restaurant is situated in the busy downtown enterprise district of Osaka. As opposed to most Japanese dining establishments, which have closed entrance doors, Shyro Ryu Ken has a hardened goblet and steel front door that slides side to side, opening the restaurant for the street, which supports its function as a local community meeting space. Components for the interior have been limited to plywood getting on and plastering, giving district a modern-looking interior that’s amazingly different to other dining establishments in the area.
