Japanese Houses

In ancient Japan, there were only two types of houses. The first one was used to known as pit dwelling houses, first of all a big hole was used to dig into the ground followed by the insertion of some columns, and it was surrounded by grass and the second one was in fact built above the ground. It was just beginning of architecture talent of Japanese, now Japan have lots of different kinds of houses which ensures both stability and awesome structures. Japanese houses include both traditional and modern styles of houses.

Two types of houses are most famous in Japan, first one is single family detached houses and another one is multi unit building. It is either owned by a corporation or by an individual. Some other types of house are also available which includes boarding house, it is actually designed for unmarried people and it is most famous among the college students. Dormitories are also very common among companies, and some public employee including police and self defense forces uses Barracks. Japanese houses have a fixed life, you have to build it again after some years of time generally a wooden house have a lifetime of about 20 years whereas a concrete house can be there for 30 years.

The Japanese are most popular in building houses of different shapes, it can be either cube shaped, polygon or it may be rectangular which looks spectacular. The smart design of Japanese houses also attracts tourists. You can see an interesting shape and pattern of any houses which are already there, this makes Japan different from other countries, actually both wooden and concrete buildings have a style of its own. This also proves that Japanese are very creative. Sometimes, earthquakes damages a lot in Japan, so there are many houses which are supposed to have earthquake prone buildings. Overall, I would like to mention it, Japan is very creative in designing a building of any shape.
